Strategies in Particle & Crystal Design

Recognized emerging technologies

In a recent article Arai et al. defined particle formation with supercritical fluid technology as a "promising basic technology in the 21st century".

The same authors “have classified the methods of fine particles formation using supercritical CO2 into four categories (RESS, SAS, PGSS, and DELOS) according to the role of supercritical CO2 and use of the second solvent In the DELOS process supercritical CO2 is used as a co-solvent in addition to an organic solvent.”
